Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what Radar does

Radar, operated by Crodae Technologies LLC, generates AI-assisted venture due-diligence reports. You give us a company name and/or upload materials (e.g. a pitch deck); we research, score, and produce a cited report. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, password (hashed), organization.
• Billing data: processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; we store a Stripe customer ID and subscription/plan status.
• Content you provide: company names, uploaded pitch decks/documents, and any instructions you enter (e.g. thesis text). Uploaded materials may contain confidential third-party information — see §6.
• Generated content: the reports we produce for you and their underlying research artifacts.
• Usage data: log data and device/browser information needed to operate and secure the service.
• Cookies: essential cookies for authentication and session. See §9.

3. How we use your information

To provide and operate the service (generate reports), authenticate you, process payments, provide support, improve the product, ensure security and prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

4. AI processing

Radar is an AI product. To generate a report, the content you provide (company names, uploaded materials, instructions) and research data are processed by the large-language-model and search providers listed in §5. We do not use your confidential uploaded materials to train our own models, and our AI and search providers do not use your data to train their models under the terms we maintain with them. Your uploaded materials are shared only with the report-generation providers; our research providers receive search queries, not your uploaded documents.

We share data with vendors who process it on our behalf, under data-processing terms:

We do not currently use third-party analytics. We update this list when we add or change providers.

6. Confidential and third-party materials

Pitch decks and documents you upload may contain confidential or third-party information. You represent that you have the right to upload them. We treat uploaded materials as confidential, restrict internal access, and retain them only as needed to produce and store your reports (see §8). We share them only with the subprocessors in §5 for the purpose of generating your report.

7. Legal bases (GDPR/EEA/UK users)

Where GDPR applies, we process personal data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), for our legitimate interests (security and product improvement), to comply with law, and with your consent where required.

8. Data retention

We keep account and report data while your account is active and as needed for the purposes in this policy. When you delete your account, or on request, we delete or anonymize your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations such as tax and payment records.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide a consent mechanism where required.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR/EEA/UK; CCPA/CPRA in California; and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict your personal data, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising). To exercise these rights, use your account settings or email info@crodae.com; we respond within the period required by law. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

11. Data deletion

You can delete your account and associated personal data from your account settings or by emailing info@crodae.com. Deletion removes your account, uploaded materials, and generated reports from our systems and cancels your subscription, subject to legal retention obligations.

12. International transfers

Your data is processed in the United States and in other countries where our subprocessors operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

13. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Children

Radar is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

15. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new date and, for material changes, notify you.
