What We Collect
When you use Radar Report, we collect:
- Account information: Your name and email address when you sign up.
- Payment information: Processed securely through Stripe. We never store your credit card number — Stripe handles all payment data directly.
- Report inputs: Company names, descriptions, URLs, and any context you provide when generating a report.
- Usage data: Basic analytics like pages visited and reports generated to improve the product.
How We Use Your Data
- To generate reports: Your inputs (company name, description, sector) are sent to third-party AI services (Google Gemini for research, Anthropic Claude for analysis) to produce your report. These services process your input to generate results and are bound by their own privacy policies.
- To manage your account: Email is used for login, receipts, and product updates. You can unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time.
- To process payments: Stripe handles billing for your subscription.
- To improve the product: We analyze aggregate usage patterns (not individual report contents) to improve report quality.
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- We do not sell your report inputs or results to third parties.
- We do not use your report inputs to train AI models.
- We do not share individual report contents with other users.

Data Retention
- Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
- Report data: Your generated reports are stored for as long as your account is active so you can access them.
- Payment records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years).
Your Rights
You can:
- Access your data by logging into your account.
- Delete your account and associated data by emailing us.
- Export your reports at any time from your dashboard.
- Opt out of non-essential emails via unsubscribe links.
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.
Changes
We may update this policy as our product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
